A CHILDREN’S PLAY
A bilingual picture book and audio experience in German and Spanish, accompanied by cello. The cello is not simply part of the music — it becomes a character within the story.
In a mysterious library, four towers of books come to life. They talk, dream, argue, and watch the children who visit every day to read their books. But there is one thing the towers have never experienced: having a child who can actually hear them.
Flora, a curious and courageous ten-year-old girl, discovers their voices. Together with the wind and a mysterious ray of light, Flora and the four towers embark on a journey filled with imagination, friendship, and big dreams.
Because sometimes all it takes is opening a book to enter a completely different world… and some stories never truly end.
Performance Reading — December 10 2026, 7:00 p.m.
You are warmly invited to a special performance reading at the Library of the Department of Romance Studies at the University of Vienna.
All the voices of the story — together with the cello — will bring the book to life in a live performance, in German and Spanish.
