Somos una compañía de teatro cuyo padrino e inspiración principal es Federico García Lorca. Su obra y su visión artística constituyen nuestro principal punto de referencia e inspiración.
Escribimos nuestros propios textos originales y creamos obras multilingües que combinan diferentes idiomas, no como traducciones entre sí, sino como partes de un todo integrado. Exploramos, reinterpretamos y experimentamos con el lenguaje y la representación escénica, permitiendo que distintas voces y culturas convivan en un mismo espacio artístico.
Como auténticos apasionados del teatro, hacemos de la improvisación una parte fundamental de nuestro proceso creativo, al tiempo que colaboramos con artistas y profesionales que enriquecen y fortalecen nuestras producciones.

Fue un día de un calor sofocante y nosotros, refugiados bajo un árbol, pudimos realizar el ensayo general. Era la primera vez que trabajábamos con todo el equipo técnico: la mesa de sonido, los amplificadores y los micrófonos.
Conseguimos superar varios obstáculos que, aun así, nos pusieron los nervios de punta. Finalmente, pocos minutos antes de las siete de la tarde, logramos instalar también los focos.
El público ya había llegado y se había acomodado sobre la hierba. Una última vuelta entre el público, una última invitación y los primeros sonidos comenzaron a dar vida a ese momento tan esperado por nosotros:
«Guten Abend. Bitte erscheinen Sie pünktlich.»
Quiero agradecer a todo el equipo por el apoyo brindado, por la dedicación y también por aquellos momentos en los que yo me mostraba insatisfecha.
Esta vez, bajo el amparo de La Butaka no fui la única autora. Mis compañeros también aportaron cada uno un texto en su propia lengua. Así conseguimos crear una cadena de idiomas cuidadosamente entretejida, que otorgó a la obra un carácter muy especial, marcando no solo un territorio, sino también un espacio en el tiempo.
Porque, en aquel instante, el tiempo se detuvo para mirarnos.

It was an incredibly hot day, and we found shelter under a tree, where we were finally able to hold our final rehearsal. It was the first time we had the complete technical setup: the sound mixer, the amplifiers, and the microphones.
We managed to overcome several obstacles that, despite everything, gave us quite a few anxious moments. In the end, just a few minutes before 7:00 p.m., we succeeded in setting up the stage lights as well.
By then, the audience had already arrived and settled on the grass. One last walk through the audience, one final invitation and the first sounds began to bring to life the moment we had all been waiting for:
"Guten Abend. Bitte erscheinen Sie pünktlich."
I would like to thank the entire team for their support, their dedication, and also for those moments when I showed my dissatisfaction. This time, under the umbrella of La Butaka I was not the only author. My colleagues also became co-authors, each contributing a text in their own language. In this way, we created a carefully woven chain of languages that gave the performance a unique character, marking not only a territory but also a space in time.
Because, in that very moment, time itself stood still to watch us.
